Blake Skarpalezos is the founder of Blake Contracting, LLC with more than 17 years experience in the Healthcare Contracting industry that started with the invaluable experience as an actual field labor and superintendent.
Blake now serves as President of Blake Contracting managing the day to day operations of Blake Contracting as well as Chief Executive Officer were he oversees board meetings and chairs ideas for board discussion and review.
Blake has obtained Unlimited General Contractors Licensing from multiple states across the Southeast with Business Law certifications as well. Blake has also furthered his education in construction lien law and construction risk management within private educational services.
In addition to knowledge in general contracting, Blake has extensive experience in Diagnostic and Imaging equipment installation, de-installation and re-location. This coupled with years of experience of planning, scoping and managing the implementation of construction projects from conception to completion has proven to be extremely valuable in the development of design/build projects for clients across the southeast and mid-west.
Blake has successfully managed over 425 diagnostic imaging projects in the past 17 years ranging from three thousand dollars to 3.2 million dollars.
Blake has gained the confidence among peers throughout the industry to allow him to be “successful” in implementation of projects of any magnitude with the assistance of preferred vendors and Blake Contracting staff.
Rochelle Skarpalezos is a North Carolina Bar Certified Paralegal with extensive experience in contract management and large transactions.
Rochelle’s background ranges from Banking to structuring of multi-million dollar transactions. She has received multiple rewards for outstanding performance on committees in the largest law firm in North and South Carolina prior to joining the Blake Contracting team.
Rochelle’s primary responsibility with Blake Contracting is to maintain legal documentation and banking. Her ten plus years of experience in both fields allow her to strategically structure Blake Contracting’s documents/banking positions to better serve our clients.
Michael Jordan has vast experience in construction, design, and installation of equipment for medical facilities.
Mike’s role at Blake Contracting is to implement projects after contract execution. Mike is also assist in the design of design/build projects.
Most recently he worked with GE Healthcare as a manager for project installations where he: worked with the hospitals, architects, and contractors to construct the facilities to house the diagnostic equipment; managed the installation team to install the equipment; supported the field engineers to calibrate the equipment.
Before that he worked as a consultant to GE Medical MRI business to manage a team that provided help to customers, their designers and contractors to understand the nuances of construction for MRI facilities. His team worked on several hundred sites a year.
His expertise in design/build for medical facilities construction services came from his being a member and eventually the manager for GE Medical’s design/build group at GE headquarters. This group designs and manages the construction of all “turn-key” projects that GE accepts.
With Mike’s 18 years of experience at GE Medical (GE Healthcare) he has developed the can do attitude. He, along with the Blake Contracting Staff, believes that there always has to be a better way.
